My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The huge and comfortable rooms were great for a quiet rest, but they felt a bit dated. The service was excellent, especially in arranging a super quiet room for me. The central location was convenient to explore Wellington, but there was a lack of light in some areas. The dining options were relatively bland and overpriced, yet the succulent organic chicken stood out.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit dated and dark, with views of a boring courtyard and noisy air con units. The location was excellent, right in the city center, but lacked natural light. The dining options were relatively bland, and the breakfast experience could have been better for the price paid.

Rooms

The rooms were a bit dated and dark, with views facing a boring courtyard. The noise level was higher than expected. It was a letdown to see dish soap in small plastic packets.
Service

The staff was very polite and helpful, answering all our questions promptly. They were accommodating with an early check-in due to my wife's pregnancy, but missed informing about the lift limitation.

The location was terrific, right in the city center with convenient access to public transport. It was a great choice for families and had easy walking distance to the waterfront, suitable for young children.

The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the city, close to water and major tourist attractions. The staff is accommodating and professional, adding to the luxurious beds and amenities provided. However, the dining experience fell short of expectations. Overall, a great choice for a central stay in Wellington.

The room, though a bit dark and dingy, was of subtle size with a queen bed. A larger bed would have been more suitable.

I loved my stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, right in the heart of Wellington, close to all the main attractions. The rooms were charming, some with views over the bustling shopping street and others overlooking a peaceful courtyard. The service was top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The only downside was that the staff could use some brushing up on their local knowledge of Wellington. The dining options were basic but satisfactory. Overall, a great value for a cozy stay in the heart of the city.

Our stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were of high quality with quality fittings, quiet, and roomy, yet the cost seemed inflated for what was provided. The service was mostly helpful, especially when we needed an early check-out, but we encountered an issue with unjust accusations regarding smoking in the room. The location was ideal for both business and leisure travelers, although some aspects of the hotel seemed a bit worn out. The dining experience was subpar with a lack of quality and variety in the breakfast options.

Rooms
7.0
The room we stayed in was ridiculous and not what we expected for the price we paid. It was spacious and quiet, but we felt it was overpriced for what was included.
Service

The staff, particularly the front desk manager Birgit, were mostly helpful during our stay. However, we had a negative experience when falsely accused of smoking in the room, which led to a potential cleaning charge.

Dining

Facilities

The hotel offered essential facilities for a comfortable stay, although some aspects seemed outdated or not fully functional.

The rooms, though spacious and well-appointed, had the downside of a lit-up bathroom affecting the bedroom. The service was exceptional, with the staff being friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. The dining experience was marred by overpricing and limited choices.
